Strong ABS Plastic cap designed to fit the Modern Deck Newel Post. Cap hides the newel post fixing
The newel post connector needs to be situated over a joist to ensure a good solid fix. A metal threaded rod (included with the modern deck post) fixes into the base connector and the newel post is passed over the rod and secured with a nut from the top compressing the post into position.
The Modern Deck Newel post is finished off by fixing the newel post cap to the top of the post
Modern Deck Aluminium Universal Rails are fixed to the newel posts by using the Universal Rail Brackets. The Brackets are fixed to the post by screws (Supplied)
Glass fits into the pre-groove Universal Rails.
All metal products are Powder Coated to protect against weathering and to give a low maintenance finish. No re-coating is required once installed
